Dewey Decimal, Dewey Decimal, where art thou Dewey Decimal? With technology changing so rapidly, I think it's a huge challenge to keep information updated. A person could work 24/7 and not be able to keep up. The changes I've seen in the last 50 years (okay, 51) are incomprehensible. I can't imagine the changes to come in the future.
I agree! The challenge is to decide just how "updated" we need to be... forget working 24/7!!
ReplyDeleteI will aways have a fond place in my heart for libraries as we know them now. What will they be like when my grandkids patronize them? I can't wait to see. I will take them with me so they can show me how to get around!
